This CD contains information on the operation and management of the Butlins Skegness resort.

It takes the learner on a trip: the first impressions from a customer point of view, the entertainment, water facilities, retail, weather constraints, rides and sports coaching, through to customer complaints and care.

The Sport & Leisure Diploma and the Travel & Tourism Diploma

There will be a Sport and Leisure Diploma and a Travel and Tourism Diploma, the pilots of which will be starting in 2010.

The material contained in this CD does have some relevance to the Business, Administration and Finance Diploma, as learners will investigate the structure of an organisation, and the systems used in business to ensure success and a high quality service.

Much of the information on this CD will support the teaching of the Diplomas, however learners will need to carry out further research and investigation.
