There are two Business discs in this series. This CD takes learners on a virtual visit of the Capital One Financial Services Head Office. The second is a tour of Global Fine Foods, where the learners will be able to find out about modern business practices and enterprise in the workplace.

Investigating Business

Understanding how businesses organise themselves in order to meet their aims and objectives


Unit 2
People and Business

Understanding the roles played by people with different interests in a business and look in detail at working relationships

Unit 3
Business Finance

The importance of keeping track of money flow and the importance of keeping accurate accounts

This disc contains information on six functional areas within the Business environment of Capital One. Each module contains a set of questions for unit one and a set of questions for unit two. The responses given by learners to the questions contained in the materials can be used as portfolio evidence for these units.

This disc can be used in conjunction with the Business & Enterprise CD to compare and contrast how the different organisations operate.
