The Diploma in Engineering has a range of pathways that learners can follow. These are designed to enable learners to study the Principle Learning and associated Additional or Specialist Learning that is specific to a particular career path.
One such pathway is:
Science, engineering and manufacturing technology: Automotive engineering
Learners will be introduced to the world of
automotive engineering, covering how the industry
operates, what it produces and the engineering
process of design, manufacture, testing, research
and maintenance.
Learners will have opportunities
to develop and apply their knowledge and
understanding of engineering manufacturing
processes of cars, commercial vehicles, buses and
coaches, and the manufacture of parts and
accessories for motor vehicles and bodies
(coachwork) for motor vehicles.
This CD contains a wealth of information that will be an excellent starting point for any learner wishing to follow this pathway.
