The Diploma in Engineering has a range of pathways that learners can follow. These are designed to enable learners to study the Principle Learning and associated Additional or Specialist Learning that is specific to a particular career path.

One such pathway is:

Science, engineering and manufacturing technology: Automotive engineering

Learners will be introduced to the world of automotive engineering, covering how the industry operates, what it produces and the engineering process of design, manufacture, testing, research and maintenance.

Learners will have opportunities to develop and apply their knowledge and understanding of engineering manufacturing processes of cars, commercial vehicles, buses and coaches, and the manufacture of parts and accessories for motor vehicles and bodies (coachwork) for motor vehicles.

This CD contains a wealth of information that will be an excellent starting point for any learner wishing to follow this pathway.
