Macromedia Flash for DiDA

This short opener was developed from a one day course on 'Cartoon Animation using Flash'.

Teachers work through a series of short tasks and use predrawn images to develop a number of animated sequences, starting with bouncing balls.

These can be used as web based animations, or as part of the materials used in the multimedia unit.

Macromedia Dreamweaver for DiDA

On our web design courses we work through developing a file structure, saving files in appropriate formats and building a multipage website.

We cover use of frames and templates, incorporating images and tables, as well as navigational elements.

Finally we look at behaviours and how to build menus and rollovers.

Adobe Photoshop for DiDA

Photoshop is a very popular application, and used extensively by schools delivering DiDA type qualifications, we offer a range of levels of course from beginners to advanced.

On the beginners course teachers will use layers and develop collages and posters using photographs as starting points.

By the time a teacher has completed our advanced course, they will be confident in using the application as a teaching aid in producing professional standards of presentation work.

Moodle - VLE Development

Over the past years we have had the opportunity to develop a number of Moodle VLEs.

We are presently supporting the work of a number of colleges in their Moodle developments and would be happy to widen this to other centres.
